Moments after viewing Playboi Carti's 2017 XXL Freshman Freestyle, Timothy Pulanski took to an internet message board to share some devastating news.
“Sorry to break it to you guys, but that wasn't a real freestyle. That was just bits and pieces of various rap songs that he had released previously,” claimed Timothy, from the comfort of his twin-sized bed.
Seconds after Timothy posted his statement, several other message board members showed up to offer their support. “Damn, you’re right,” said one member. Just like that, Timothy and his online army were able to strip Playboi Carti of all of his accolades and accomplishments.
“Yeah I don't know,” said Timothy, “I just think if you’re at that level, you gotta be able to give the fans something new. I don't care how hard you worked, how long you spent in the studio, or how many shows you did. You’re here to entertain us. I’m not a rapper, but best believe that if I was, I would have killed that freestyle.”
We reached out to Carti for comments on the matter, who offered the following brief statement: “I’m just (yup) really (yup) sorry to all of my fans (yup). I’ll do better (yup) next time.”
A troublesome day for Playboi Carti, and a victorious day for Timothy Pulanski.
