The existence of global climate change due to human pollution is almost universally affirmed within the scientific community, however, current U.S. President has dismissed climate change as a 'hoax'. Many Americans also hold this view, despite overwhelming evidence that ice caps are melting, oceans temperatures are rising, extreme weather events are becoming more frequent, and many of their houses are under water.
Earl Blevins, of Key West, was an outspoken critic of the Paris Agreement, which he called "a hippie dippy attack on our boys in coal." Mr. Blevins answered questions from his home saying, "Honestly, this is great, we have been talking about getting a pool for years. The Lord always provides!"

At that point, Mr. Blevins appeared to have an equipment issue, as his speech through the snorkel became garbled. Shortly, Blevins was forcibly evacuated by rescue workers, though he insisted on swimming next to the boat, shouting through the snorkel, "I actually prefer this!"
