Now that’s dedication!
Minutes after watching the season-seven premier of Game Of Thrones on his ex-girlfriend’s HBO Go account, Daniel Rayfort took to Twitter to announce his plans to convert the HBO show into a series of books.
“Wow. Best season opener ever? I feel so inspired,” Daniel tweeted, “Any interest in a book based on GOT?” Seven minutes after composing his initial tweet, Daniel posted a follow up tweet: “Ok, it’s official, I am quitting my job to write a series of books based on GOT.”
Several Twitter users responded to Daniel’s announcement, honoring him for his bravery and dedication. “Wow! Excited to read this! Good on you, Daniel,” said GOTadvocat3.
Being big Game Of Thrones fans, we reached out to Daniel for any information he cared to share with us. He offered the following:
“I’m really busy right now sorting through publishing offers, but I’ll give you a brief rundown. Basically, I plan on breaking up the show into several books. Ideally, each season of the show will be one book. So that would be seven books. Wow, seven books. I should probably start writing. That is a lot of books. I haven't decided on a name yet for the series, but it’s probably going to be Game Of Books. Or maybe Book of Thrones. One of those two for sure.”
Well Mr. Rayfort, no matter what you plan to call it, we will be there to read it. You’re a true hero.
