You're blowing it, Caleb
It’s totally natural for students to use their first week of school as a time to reflect on their summer and share their experiences with fellow classmates. However, one student has taken that privilege way too far, and won’t shut up about how he smoked weed with his older cousins this summer.
That student is Caleb Landry, a 10th grader at Norwich High.
Caleb was allegedly visiting his cousins in Delaware when one of them (presumably the cooler, older, and mysterious one) whipped out a joint and asked Caleb if he had ever smoked before.
Smoking weed for the first time is an objectively cool thing to do. Unfortunately, Caleb has just about worn all that ‘coolness’ down to the ground by bragging about it. The other students at lunch are absolutely sick of hearing about it, and some are saying that Caleb’s weed story is getting in the way of talking about their own summer.
“I get it,” said Caleb’s classmate Evan Donahugh, “It’s cool that he smoked weed, but it’s ridiculous how much he talks about it. I did some cool stuff this summer too, my family went to Atlantis. Atlantis was sick, but every time I try to bring it up and tell the guys, Caleb starts talking over me about what it’s like to be high.”
Wow. Way to be story-hog Caleb.
At press time, no one has tried to confront Caleb about how annoying he is, but classmates are speculating that the weird kid who wears a hoody even though its summer might say something soon.
